West Michigan Rustic Vintage Wedding
Van Buren Youth Camp, Michigan
With all the charm of vintage lace and rustic lodgings, Van Buren Youth Camp set the stage for Ben and Vanessa's intimate wedding. It was a strangely foggy day at the end of August, though Michigan weather has its own personality, and the light sprinkling only added to the allure of the early afternoon haziness.
My second shooter, Liz, and I wandered the camp before most people had arrived and the sweet paintings on the buildings harkening the age-old "Buddy System" and the cool sun mural fueled the feeling that this was going to be one freaking awesome wedding day.
Ben is an amazing artist (check out his work here DirtSt) and Vanessa is such a creative soul (she DIYed the majority of the wedding!) so I just knew their wedding would be nothing short of beautiful! BUT, enough of all the words... these images speak for themselves!
